Everything you need to know about Workdays

What are Workdays?

It’s a day where volunteers from our disc golf club come to help lend a hand with course projects, maintenance, and upkeep at the course. Most of the time people are assigned to either mow, trim, or install a new hole position. All workdays last from 9am to 2pm, you can come and leave at any time.

When & Where are Workdays?

An average month goes something like this…

The first Saturday of each month will be at Villa Maria.

The second Saturday is open for a club monthly tournament.

The third Saturday of each month will focus on Kelley Park.

The last Saturday of the month at Hellyer and / or La Raza.

Before arriving, remember to look at our Events page or our Facebook page in case of any last-minute updates.

Why Participate?

Our club is a California public benefit non-profit corporation that operates on 100% volunteer work so we appreciate all the help we can get from people especially on workdays.

How to Volunteer?

If you want to volunteer at one of workdays all you have to do is show up to the course, check-in with Jim Challas. If don’t know them, I recommend showing up at 9am where you can easily spot them setting things up or ask any of our other volunteers.
